The new Cypriot airline is now open for bookings Cobalt, a new generation airline based in Cyprus, has started online ticket sales ahead of its first scheduled flight this July.

Cobalt’s new internet booking engine, based on the Bravo’s ‘Avantik’ Passenger Service System (PSS) has been designed and implemented by Newshore Servicios Globales, a technology consultancy firm serving the airline industry. Newshore is also going to provide ongoing technical support during the airline’s first year of operations.

The cloud-based, cost-efficient solution developed by Newshore provides not only a smooth and convenient flight booking experience, but it also gives Cobalt a very flexible platform for the promotion and management of a broad range of ancillary revenue streams.

Cobalt’s go-live represents the first stage of a planned road-map that aims to set the Cypriot airline ahead of the industry when it comes to distribution strategy and technology.
